令和6年5月3日(金) 殿様街道探訪ウォークin春が開催されました。
“Tonosama Kaidou Walk in Spring” was held on May 3rd, 2024.
“Tonosama Kaidou Walk” is a tour to walk an old road in spring and autumn.
“Tonosama” means lord in matsumae domain.
伊能忠敬と堀田仁助 ～蝦夷地を測量したふたりの天文学者～
というテーマで開催されました。
The theme of the event was “Ino Tadataka and Hotta Nisuke: Two Astronomers who Surveyed the Ezo Region.”
今年も道内外から大勢の皆さんにお集まりいただきました。
This year again, many people from inside and outside of the province gathered for the event.
福島町史研究会の会長でもある弊社社長が伊能忠敬に扮して殿様街道について解説。
Our president, who is also the chairman of the Fukushima Town History Research Association, dressed up as Ino Tadataka and explained about the Tonosama Kaido Road.
今回の開催にあたり地元高校の書道の先生に書いていただき、かつて建っていたとされる標柱を再現することができました。
歴史ある殿様街道の当時の様子を偲ぶのにうってつけの存在になりました。
A calligraphy teacher from a local high school wrote the calligraphy for this event, and we were able to recreate the marker that is believed to have once stood there.
It has become a perfect reminder of what the historic Tonosama Kaido Road was like in those days.
序盤は全体的に上り坂です。
The beginning is generally uphill.
要所要所で、中塚会長や福島町教育委員会の鈴木学芸員から解説がありました。
At key points, there were explanations from Chairman Nakatsuka and Ms. Suzuki, curator of the Fukushima Town Board of Education.
皆さん熱心に聞いてくださるので、解説にも力が入ります。
Everyone listens attentively and puts a lot of effort into their explanations.
昔の人はこんなに険しい道を歩いたのかと、当時の苦労が少しわかるようでした。
It seemed to me that I could understand a little of the hardships of those days, wondering how people in the past went on such a steep path.
旧国鉄時代の鉄橋。この時だけ特別に渡ることができます。
A railroad bridge from the former Japanese National Railways era. You can cross it specially only at this time.
ようやくゴール「峠の茶屋」に到着。お抹茶と千軒そばまんじゅうが振る舞われました。
Finally, we arrived at the goal “Touge-no-chaya”.
Matcha green tea and Sengen soba manju (buckwheat buns) were served.
殿様街道を歩いた後は、松前神楽の鑑賞と千軒そばで昼食をとりました。
After walking along the Tonosama Kaido Road, we watched a Matsumae Kagura performance and had lunch at Sengen Soba.
