A Safety Training Workshop was held at Nakatsuka Construction’s ABC Equipment Center, jointly hosted by Toa Grout Kogyo Co., Ltd. and Arc Join Co., Ltd..
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone involved who assisted with transporting equipment from distant locations and preparing the venue on the day of the event.
東亜グラウト工業㈱様では以前より各地で開催されてきましたが、今回私たちは初めて参加させていただきました。
多くの作業員が集まり、各種体験をしました。
Although Toa Grout Kogyo Co., Ltd. has held similar workshops in various regions before, this was our first opportunity to participate.
A large number of workers attended and took part in a variety of hands-on safety experiences.
転倒体感確認実験 Slip and Fall Hazard Experience
不安全な足元だったらどのくらい滑りやすいか。
この体験は、冬期の工事もあるためか比較的皆さん滑りにくくなるコツをお持ちのようでした。
Participants experienced how easily slipping can occur on unsafe footing conditions.
Since many of the attendees are involved in winter construction work, it seemed that they were already familiar with techniques for maintaining stable footing on slippery surfaces.
酸欠状態確認実験 Oxygen Deficiency Awareness Experiment
透明な板で仕切られた室内モデルにドライアイスを送り、どのように二酸化炭素が入り込むかを見学しました。
実際の現場では酸素欠乏状態でも気体は目に見えないため、始業前点検や保護具着用の重要性が感じられました。
Dry ice was introduced into a room model separated by transparent panels, allowing participants to observe how carbon dioxide spreads within confined spaces.
Because hazardous gases are invisible at actual job sites, the experiment reinforced the importance of pre-work inspections and the proper use of protective equipment.
感電危険性体験 Electrical Hazard Experience
発電機など現場で電気を扱うことは珍しくありません。
乾いた状態よりも濡れた状態のほうが電気が通りやすいこと、
万が一感電者がいた場合には一刻も早くドロップキックで助けることなど教わりました。
Handling electricity at construction sites, such as when using generators, is not uncommon.
Participants learned that electricity passes more easily through wet conditions than dry ones, and were also taught emergency response methods in the event of an electric shock accident.
墜落制止用器具体験 Fall Arrest Equipment Experience
フルハーネス型墜落制止用器具特別教育を受講していても、実際にぶら下がる経験はなかなかできません。
今回体験させていただき、「胴ベルト型だととても苦しく数分も持たないと感じたが、フルハーネス型だと比較的余裕が感じられた」という参加者の感想がありました。
Even workers who have completed special training for full-body harness fall protection equipment rarely have the opportunity to experience suspension firsthand.
After trying the equipment, one participant commented that the waist-belt type felt extremely uncomfortable and difficult to endure for more than a few minutes, while the full-body harness type felt comparatively more stable and manageable.
そのほかにも様々な体験をさせていただきました。
参加者全員にとって学びがあったと思います。
貴重な学習機会をいただきました。
今後も安全に対する意識を高めるため、各種取り組みを続けたいと思います。
In addition to these activities, participants experienced many other practical safety demonstrations.
We believe the workshop provided valuable learning opportunities for everyone involved.
