2つの福島町立小学校にきりんクレーン写生会記念手ぬぐいを贈呈しました。
We Presented Commemorative Tenugui Towels from the Giraffe Crane Sketching Event to Two Fukushima Town Elementary Schools.
この手ぬぐいは令和7年に実施したきりんクレーン写生会を記念し、写生会に参加してくれた児童を中心にイラストを制作してもらい、プリントしたものです。
福島小学校の長浦校長先生の発案で、総合的な学習の時間で福島町の名産品をモチーフにオリジナルキャラクターを制作、それを手ぬぐいとして形にすることができました。
イカ、コンブ、陸上養殖アワビ、黒米、青の洞窟サイダー、岩部クルーズ、様々な名産品をモチーフに素敵なキャラクターを制作してくれました。
These tenugui towels were created to commemorate the Giraffe Crane Sketching Event held in 2025. The illustrations printed on them were drawn mainly by the children who participated in the event.
At the suggestion of Principal Nagaura of Fukushima Elementary School, the students created original characters inspired by Fukushima Town’s local specialties during their integrated studies classes, and we were able to turn those designs into tenugui towels.
The children designed wonderful characters based on a variety of local specialties and attractions, including squid, kelp, land-farmed abalone, black rice, Blue Cave Cider, and the Iwabe Cruise.

Fukushima Elementary School
Fifteen third-grade students who had participated in the Giraffe Crane Sketching Event held in July 2025 attended the presentation ceremony.
福島小学校の全児童77名と教職員18名あわせて95枚お渡ししました。
A total of 95 towels were presented to Fukushima Elementary School: 77 for all students and 18 for faculty and staff.

Yoshioka Elementary School
All students of the school attended the presentation ceremony.
吉岡小学校の全児童14名と教職員7名あわせて21枚お渡ししました。
A total of 21 towels were presented to Yoshioka Elementary School: 14 for all students and 7 for faculty and staff.
卒業式や入学式の準備でお忙しい中、お時間をいただきありがとうございました。
